Rib Eye Steaks with Mushroom Sauce served with fresh mashed Potatoes and boiled Cauliflower

Ingredients:


  • 4 slices Rib Eye Steaks

  • Garlic

  • Mushrooms

  • Cooking cream

  • Potatoes

  • Cauliflower

  • Chicken stock cube

  • Oil

Method:

  • Peel and boil the potatoes in salted water.

  • When cooked remove from water and add salt and pepper.

  • Add a spoon of butter and a cup of warm milk and mash.

  • Boil the cauliflower, don't over cook and season with salt and pepper.

  • For the mushroom sauce: chop the garlic finely.

  • Chop the mushrooms finely.

  • Heat a pan with a tbs of oil, fry the garlic and mushrooms.

  • When cooked add cream and cook further for 15 min.

For the Rib Eye steaks

  • Heat a pan with a table spoon of oil.

  • Cook the rib eye steaks to your liking.

  • Remove the rib eye from the pan and place in plates.

  • Add the mushrooms sauce to the gravy of the meat stir well and serve over steaks.

  • Enjoy!
