Chicken Pie

Ingredients:
Egg yolk
Butter, cut into chunks
Plain flour
Water
Good pinch of salt
Pie filling ingredients
Boiled or ready cooked roast chicken ( leftovers are great)
Celery
Carrots
Onions
A couple of potatoes
Chicken stock
A glass of water
Method:
Fry onion, celery and carrots add chicken, potatoes, stock and water and.
Cook till all water is absorbed.
Let it cool down.
Prepare the pastry and lay in your chosen buttered oven dish.
You can do a big pie, and you can do small pies.
Once the filling has cooled down, fill your pies and bake till cooked.
To get the golden colour on top, brush pies with a beaten egg and a drop of milk.
